Dried tubers of Dioscorea zingiberensis C.H. Wright (DZW, Fig. 1b; powder form, P-DZW, Fig. 1c) and crude extract of DZW (E-DZW, Fig. 1d) were supplied by Zunyi City Bei Yuan Chemical Co., Ltd (China).
